Presentation Title: Data Integration as a Service – Not just an ETL tool anymore
  1. Description: Data Integration as a service is the application of a set of services provided to meet a wide range of business imperatives. DI is far beyond the data warehouse and indeed the DW is a subset of the applications enabled by it.  Enabling DI-AAS across the enterprise in a Service Oriented Architecture provides both the IT and Business unit’s value in: increased IT agility, the ease of metadata management, enablement and conformation to the Center Of Excellence, and reduced total cost of ownership. This talk will focus on the benefits achieved from DI-AAS, the high level architecture to support it and steps to implement. Although DI-AAS can be achieved through a number of products on the market, the presentation is based on the Informatica product suite.
